In my second year of university, I spent 86 days in chaotic, beautiful and intense India. I was wildly unprepared for the trip and flew to Mumbai with only hand luggage and no itinerary. I Couchsurfed in the homes of strangers, slept in a tent in the Thar Desert, meditated in a cave with a Baba, fell severely ill and feverish from dirty water and got into a motorbike accident in Varanasi. It was a tough trip for my 20 year old inexperienced self, and at the same time it was filled with some of the best travelling experiences I've had.
